Raffle Rules and Terms

Dev Sports NPC – Mpumalanga Mambas Fundraising Raffle 2025
1. Organiser

This raffle is organised by Dev Sports NPC, a registered Non-Profit Company which assists hockey players to raise funds towards their hockey education and tournament participation.

2. Purpose of the Fundraiser

All proceeds from this raffle will go towards assisting Mpumalanga Mambas players with their participation in the 2025 Pro Series Indoor Nationals, to be held in Cape Town in December 2025.

3. Ticket Purchase

  • Tickets cost R100 each.

  • Tickets are available only online via the Mpumalanga Mambas website at www.mambas.co.za.

  • When purchasing, supporters must specify the player’s name they wish their proceeds to support.

  • Each ticket purchased represents one entry into the raffle draw.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and sales will close at 23:59 on 30 November 2025.

4. Allocation of Funds

Funds raised on behalf of individual players will be paid directly by Dev Sports NPC as contributions towards those players’ tournament fees.
Players will not receive the money personally.

If a player withdraws or is unable to attend the tournament for any reason, any funds raised on their behalf will be redirected to the general Mpumalanga Mambas 2025 tournament budget.

5. Prizes

The following prizes are up for grabs:

  1. PRINCESS Indoor Premium 4K 10 Star (2025) – valued at R2 500

  2. PRINCESS Backpack – Black – valued at R850

  3. Nkosi Cup 2024 South African National Ladies Team Shirt, signed by the team

  4. Full set of SA National Ladies “Pink” Playing Kit (shirt and skorts)

Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other item.

6. Draw Details

  • The raffle draw will take place on 1 December 2025.

  • The draw will be conducted openly and fairly, under the supervision of Dev Sports NPC representatives.

  • Winners will be contacted directly by email or phone and announced on the Mambas website and social media pages.

7. Eligibility

  • Open to all persons aged 18 years and older.

  • Members of the organising committee and their immediate families are not eligible to win.

8. Data Protection and POPIA

By purchasing a raffle ticket, entrants consent to Dev Sports NPC collecting and processing their personal information solely for the purposes of:

  • recording raffle entries,

  • contacting winners, and

  • fulfilling legal and audit obligations related to the fundraiser.

Personal data will not be shared with any unauthorised third parties and will be stored securely in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

9. Legal Compliance

This fundraiser is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Lotteries Act 57 of 1997 (as amended) relating to non-profit “society lotteries”.
