U14 BOYS SHIELD SECTION (17 TEAMS – 2 POOLS OF 9 & 8)

POOL 1 PLAYING VENUES:

DAY 1 – FAIRMONT HIGH SCHOOL 

DAY 2 – SUNNINGDALE SPORTS CENTRE 

DAY 3 – UCT – COURT 1  

DAY 4 – MEDAL MATCHES AND PRIZEGIVING AT WYNBERG MILITARY BASE

Each pool will play 8/7 game round robin:

At the end of the round robin Semi final 1 – 1st in pool 1 vs 2nd in pool 2

Semi final 2 – 2nd in pool 1 vs 1st in pool 2

Teams in Pool 2 will have a further game (1st& 2ndto semis) – 8th vs 7th; 6th vs 5th & 4th vs 3rd.

Losers of Semi Finals play for 3rd vs 4th- Bronze medal

Winners of Semi Finals play for 1st vs 2nd - Gold / Silver.

Matches will be 20 minutes each half, 2 minute half time and 3 minute change over between games.
