U13 BOYS SHIELD SECTION (16 TEAMS – 2 POOLS OF 8)

POOL 1 PLAYING VENUES:

DAY 1 – SETTLERS HIGH SCHOOL 

DAY 2 – DF MALAN HIGH SCHOOL 

DAY 3 – COLLEGE OF CAPE TOWN 

DAY 4 – MEDAL MATCHES AND PRIZEGIVING AT UCT

Each pool will play 7 game round robin:

At the end of the round robin

Teams finishing 3rdto 8th in each Pool will play a further match against opposite pool position for final placing. EG 8th Pool 1 VS 8th Pool 2

Top 2 from each Pool

Semi-final 1 – 1st in pool 1 vs 2nd in pool 2

Semi final 2 – 2nd in pool 1 vs 1st in pool 2

Losers of the Semi’s will play the 3rdvs 4th(bronze) playoff

Winners of the Semi’s will play the 1stvs 2nd(gold / silver) playoff.

Matches will be 20 minutes each half, 2 minute half time and 3 minute change over between games.
